Creating awareness about microplastics in the air research and conceptualizing that was done during the first year and elaborates on the process towards the final concept, its prototyping and realization during this year. Besides that possible marketing opportunities are identified and partly developed. 

The project: “Life in plastic is not fantastic” is an approach of finding one possible solution for tackling the problem of microplastics in the air. Filtration systems do already exist, but we asked us: 

How far can filtering the air in some parts of the city solve the problem, if plastic continues to leak into the air at a much higher speed? 

Thus, our design aims to educate, raise awareness, and maybe inspire behavior change.
