Designing products and services for children is a growing focus in today's market, with designers and companies striving to better understand the needs and preferences of young users. However, the active involvement of children in the design process is often limited, and their thoughts and opinions are frequently overlooked. coCreate, a collaborative approach involving young end-users in the design process, has the potential to address this issue by providing children with a platform to express their ideas and contribute to the design of products tailored to their requirements.
This study performed an evaluation study for coCreate. By actively engaging children as co-creators, coCreate aims to align designs with their concerns, values, and preferences while empowering them to participate and expand their knowledge and skills.
